The Yorkshire Moors

Well we did it. Everything is now booked and confirmed for a wonderful trip to England on May 4th where we will spend 2 weeks on the Yorkshire Moors. We fly into Manchester and then have about a 2 1/2 hour drive to our cottage. The cottage was converted from a barn and is situated on a working farm....should be very interesting. Here are a few photos of our cottage:

This is one holiday that will be relaxing and just doing day trips in the area as there is so much to see there from castles to little villages, a steam train that goes across the moors and of course the pubs and the quaint little fishing villages.

The people that own the cottage seem to be very nice and upon arrival they have freshly baked home made biscuits and tea or coffee ready for you.

I still have a few issues I have to deal with medically but I will be seeing my Doctor next Wednesday as since I stopped the medication the pain has been coming back.

I was hoping to get this other surgery for the scar tissue over with before we went as it can be really uncomfortable when walking for any length of time but when I called my plastic surgeon's office today it doesn't look like it will be done before we go but she was going to mention it to the booking clerk....right, that what she always says!

Life goes on though and we can't let things stop us from enjoying life. Jean is so excited to do this trip!
