This is something that I have been diagnosed with and finally confirmed by my dermatologist. Luckily the loss of pigmentation on me has so far been on my stomach, chest, top of the legs and the ones on my hands have faded somewhat but shows up more if I get the sun on them. So naturally for me I now have to watch myself in the sun. Less than 2% of the population get this disease and it usually occurs under 40...why did I get it...who knows....how did I get it...again who knows. All I know so far it is an autoimmune disease and there is no cure for it.
I have conquered much worse and so this is just another glitch for me and I am not going to let it get to me.
