These are some of the side effects.......I definitely am not looking forward to any of these....maybe I will be lucky but my pharmacist did say that it will get worse before it starts to get better.....UGH!!!!!!!
Redness
Swelling
A sore, blister or ulcer
Skin that becomes hard or thickened
Changes in skin color that do not always go away
Skin peeling
Scabbing and crusting
Itching
Burning....
The area being treated is likely to look worse before it looks better. Skin reactions may be of such intensity that you may require rest periods from treatment.
Other potential side effects of imiquimod include headache, back pain, muscle aches, tiredness, flu-like symptoms, swollen lymph nodes, diarrhea and fungal infections. If the reactions seem severe, if either skin breaks down or sores develop during the first week of treatment, if flu-like symptoms develop, or if you begin to not feel well at any time, contact your healthcare provider.--------------------------------------------------------
In the meantime have been working on some Christmas crafts.

That sounds rather nasty...I hope you don't have any of them but breeze right through. Sorry you had to cancel your vacation but I understand wanting to stay close to your medical community. I get so tired of having to change our plans because of my health issues...I know it can be hard.
Glad you are keeping busy...that foam looks an awful lot like frosting...;j
Hi, Jill -
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving your comments. I really appreciate hearing from you!
I am sorry that your vacation is postponed. That stinks. What is so coincidental about your story is that a friend of mine who is a BC survivor and had radiation like you (and soon - like me) had the EXACT same situation happen just this summer. Skin cancer on the tip of her nose - almost in exactly the same spot.
What do you make of that? Pure coincidence? She told me that she thought radiation treatments might have increased her risk of developing skin cancer. What's so amazing to me is that she developed it exactly as you did.
The good news - she is fully recovered and her nose looks wonderful.
My condolences also on your blogging friend Deanna.
Hang in there, Jill.
