Today I had my appointment with the dermatologist and he confirmed that the spot on my nose (it never heals and also bleeds) that I have had for the last 10 months is cancerous. On November 18th I have to go to the hospital and he will cut it out and hopefully when the pathology reports comes back he will have got clean margins around it. I will have one or two stitches after....what a place to have this done. Oh well just another glitch that we have to deal with. He was certainly thorough in his examination as he scanned my whole body. He did notice the white patches that occurred on my hands and legs after my chemo and radiation and diagnosed it as Vitalago but he said that was good because because it apparently is fighting the cancer.
Thank goodness I have such a wonderful and patient husband who is always here for me.

I had the same as you on my nose Jill although mine would heal up and look nothing more than a tiny bump. I never told the skin clinic about it as I truly thought it was nothing. At a regular skin appointment the doctor suddenly looked at my nose - I just don't know how she saw it! - she biopsed it and it was indeed a BCC. I was a bit shocked at how much they removed but perhaps they can be a bit like icebergs. Anyway it healed well, despite my drugs, and I'm sure yours will do the same, all the best X
